Effective 29 October 2026
Athanyx is an alchemy pouring puzzle that runs on your device and nowhere else. This page explains, plainly, what that means for your information.
Athanyx does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. It has no accounts and no sign-in, and it makes no network requests. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code of any kind in the app.
To remember your play, Athanyx saves a small set of values in the device's own app storage:
Names typed into Namecast are only used on the device to build a puzzle and to show your best results in the Name Book. They are never sent anywhere.
These values are used only to run the game: to pick up where you left off, to show your records and to apply your settings. No one else, including the developer, can see them.
Everything stays until you choose otherwise. "Scatter the Ashes" on the Flue Wall erases your progress inside the app, and deleting Athanyx from your device removes all of it.
Athanyx is a calm puzzle suitable for a general audience, including children. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
If the way Athanyx handles information ever changes, this page will be updated and its effective date revised before the change ships.
Athanyx is the work of Frank Sprague. Questions about this policy can be addressed to mail@quillwheel.click.
